Egg less Date Cake for the Beginners

Ingredients:

Maida: 11/2 Cup
Baking Powder: 1.5 tsp
Baking Soda: A pinch
Lion Black Dates: 8-10 Nos (De-seeded) for Grinding & 2-3 Nos finely sliced length wise (I used the one bought from Gulf)
Sugar: Half a cup
Oil: 2 Tbsps
Milk: Half cup
Almonds: 8-10 (sliced half with skin)

Method:

Sieve Flour, Baking Powder & soda together for 3 times so that all three are mixed up completely, grind Dates, milk, oil & sugar together, when the mixture is smooth & well blended, take the mixture in a bowl, meanwhile grease the baking tray & preheat the oven on 180 Degree for 10 minutes, coming back to the grinded mixture fold the maida mixture about a tblspn & mix well then add again the tblspn mixture of maida & fold again, continue this untill the maida mixture is all well blended with dates mixture then add sliced dates & almonds & mix again, pour this on to baking tray & spinkle with chopped dates & almonds, bake this on 180 degree for 30-40 mins (Depends upon the Oven you use) & enjoy the aroma which is spread all your home, after 40mins check the cake by inserting the toothpick or knife in the centre of the cake if it comes out clean then the cake is ready if not then bake for 5 more mins & check again. Once it is done, let it cum to room temperature then loosen the cake from the sides & remove it.

Enjoy this cake with cup of coffee.
